Queer Country Monthly this Saturday!

It’s time for the November Queer Country Monthly! Sorry to be getting you all the details so late this month, my dear cowpeople. This one will be a benefit for Hurricane Sandy relief.*

So come on down to the Branded Saloon on Saturday, November 17th and hear some great music! With Rachel Easterly (somber ex-Methodist acoustic), the Tara Lynne Band (Crosby Stills and Nash meets The B-52’s) and special guests from Tivoli, NY, Pocatello (saucy, sultry, harmonious twang).

We start at 8:00 and the door is a $5 donation, but no one ever turned away for lack of funds.Read on for more info about the bands and your hard-working queer country team below. Hope to see you all soon!

xoxo,
karen

*I’m thinking to North Star’s Grassroots Hurricane Relief Fund (northstarfund.org/grants/grassroots-hurricane-relief-fund.php) so that it’s accessible to grassroots groups around the tri-state area without us focusing on one particular spot. And so that it goes to support groups fighting structural inequality all the time, not just right now. But email me if you feel differently. We could also give it directly to a local group or to Occupy Sandy.
